My Faith and My Country: Being a Proud Muslim American

Course Description: This course helps children understand what it means to be both a committed Muslim and a responsible American. Through engaging discussions and relatable examples, students will explore the core values of Islam like honesty, justice, compassion, and community and how these values align with the best principles of American citizenship. They will learn that they can be proud of their faith while being active, respectful, and contributing members of society. The goal is to nurture young hearts that are confident in their Muslim identity and capable of shining that identity wherever they go without compromise and without confusion.
