Gems from the Qur’ān

Course Description: Gems from the Qur’ān introduces upper elementary students to the beauty, wisdom, and guidance of the Book of Allah. Each week, students will study selected Qur’ānic themes, short passages, or important lessons that teach them about faith, character, obedience to Allah, gratitude, patience, honesty, respect, and good decision-making.

This course will also introduce students to some of the miraculous aspects of the Qur’ān, helping them appreciate why the Qur’ān is the final revelation and a timeless source of guidance. Students will learn that the Qur’ān is not only recited, but also understood, reflected upon, and lived.

By the end of the course, students will gain a deeper love for the Qur’ān and learn how its guidance can help them become better Muslims in their daily lives.
